About Us

The mission of the international Psycho Social Aspects of Diabetes (PSAD) Group is to:

  • to stimulate communication between researchers and clinicians in the field of psychosocial aspects of diabetes
  • to improve the quality of psychosocial research in diabetes
  • to stimulate dissemination and implementation of effective psychosocial interventions in diabetes care

The international PSAD Study Group acts as a reference group for the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) in matters related to the psychological, social and behavioural aspects of (living with) diabetes.
