Aim of the Meeting

The 31st Meeting will focus on the psychosocial aspects of diabetes. The meeting aims to gain a better understanding of life, emotions and challenges related to diabetes and to integrate psychology into daily medical practice and personal routines. The meeting is addressed to psychologists, doctors and nurses working in the field of diabetes.

2027 PSAD Awards

2 PSAD Science Awards:

  • one for ECRs and one for MCRs
  • each award will be €750

4 PSAD Early Career Researcher (ECR) Travel Fellowships:

  • two for ECRs from low-to-middle-income countries (LMICs)
  • two for ECRs from high income countries (HICs)
  • each travel fellowship will be €500

3 PSAD Axel Hirsch Travel Fellowships:

  • three awards for people with lived experience
  • each travel fellowship will be €500

All awardees will also receive complimentary registration to the 31st PSAD annual scientific meeting and a one-year PSAD membership.

The 30th PSAD Annual Scientific Meeting was held in Geelong, Australia, 17-19 February 2026.
