PSAD Awards

The PsychoSocial Aspects of Diabetes Study Group aims to stimulate scientific research on psychosocial issues in diabetes amongst European researchers and clinicians. Travel grants are awarded each year to early career members on a competitive basis.

Applications are made at the time of submission of abstracts. The winners of the travel awards will be selected by the executive committee on the basis of the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts. They will be informed at the time the decisions about abstracts are notified.

The winner of the PSAD Science Award will be selected by a panel nominated by the executive committee of the PSAD. Original articles are rated according to their clinical significance, scientific quality, innovativeness and clarity of presentation. The winner will be announced during the annual PSAD meeting. The recipient will be invited to present his/her research at this meeting.

More detailed information is available from the Honorary Secretary.
